Terms and conditions

Acceptance of Orders: All orders placed are confirmed by e-mail after submission, no order should be deemed to be accepted with out being confirmed, all orders are fulfilled subject to these terms and conditions.

Currency: All prices quoted are in Pound Sterling or in any other currency on request; all payments are to be made in Pounds sterling, Euros or American Dollars on request. (Your credit card providers will charge the order in your local billing currency)

Value added tax : VAT is charge on all sales within The United Kingdom.  All purchases with delivery outside The United Kingdom are charged less VAT and would also exclude duties. (UK VAT at 20%).

Shipping/Carriage: Normally all prices quoted include kerbside delivery within the United Kingdom, 2nd man and fittings can be quoted on request, deliveries would normally be made within 6-8 weeks, depending on destination and product ordered. * Home assembly may unfortunately not be available in all areas. (Installations are not made by us directly but outsourced to a fully insured fitting specialists in your area, any issues regarding installations would need to be taken up with the fitting company direct)  Please contact us for cost and information on deliveries to destinations outside the UK.

Storage: We can store your order for free with our forwarders for 7 days after a storage fee or £ 20/m3 per week will be added to your invoice.

Damage in Transit: After leaving the factory all goods are insured by our forwarder against loss and damage, if you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the forwarders insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open and inspect a package in the presence of the forwarder, make sure that you sign for it as "unable to inspect goods on delivery or similar to warn the forwarder that a claim may be forthcoming, for kerbside deliveires and orders with a value over £500 our forwarders require that any damages are noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery, all other damage claims must be reported to us within 7 days of taking delivery.

Guarantees: The products we sell all have a different guarantee periods depending on the manufacturer, the length of the guarantee is stated on each product page, if unsure please contact us for the details.  We offer a Lifetime guarantee on some of our sofa and wall beds.  The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and is limited to 15years. Our Lifetime guarantee covers the mechanism and frame issues that have occurred despite proper use and handling, upholstery, mattresses and electrical componants are guaranteed for 5 years, find our conditions here below.

  • Proof of purchase is the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Normal 'wear and tear', including staining, excessive soiling, abrasion, tears and burns is excluded.
  • The cracking of wood due to changes in room humidity or heat is excluded.
  • This guarantee is non-transferable.
  • In order to fulfil our obligations under this guarantee, we have the right to choose the most cost-effective solution. This could involve fixing the issue, replacing the unsatisfactory component, or partially refunding the original purchase price.
  • In the event of an exchange or full refund, faulty goods will be returned to our ownership.
  • Claims under the guarantee are limited to the original purchase price of the unsatisfactory merchandise.
  • This warranty excludes non-domestic use and goods taken outside the area we service UK or the European Union.
  • The validity of this guarantee may be affected if the product has been adapted, abused or altered.
  • For wall beds the Life time guarantee would only be valid if installed by one of our recommended fitters (if not the order would be covered for 5 years). 

In the unlikely case you should encounter problems, simply send our customer service team an email with a description and photographs of the damage, we will then arrange for a repairer or make an exchange.  We will repair faulty goods and if for some reason a repair is not possible you will be offered a replacement, we will only make a refund if a suitable replacement is not available.  We will not be liable for any direct or indirect financial loss or damage arising from damaged, defective or wrongly delivered goods.  Our retail sales support above are limited to goods being used solely for private and domestic use (if not otherwise agreed in writing), for trade/contract sales please contact our trade department for warranty terms.

Guarantees for Stain protections are offered under separate terms and conditions.

Returns and Refunds: Return policies vary depending on product. For non custom made goods, we accept returns within seven days after you have been taking delivery or your order,..
Goods must be returned at the customers expense in its original packing and in an unused condition to the original point of dispatch, on request this can be arranged by us.  Refunds would be arranged within 30 days after we have received the goods, leasers insurance, freight costs, and subject to inspection as to their suitability for re-sale.  Upholstered or fitted furniture where you have specified a particular fabric or colour are always custom made orders and can generally not be returned (wall beds, sofas, sofa beds, tables and wardrobes are always custom made to your specifications if not othervice specified).  Customers based outside the EU will also be responsible for any custom charges that might be charged when returning goods.  If you wish to make a return please contact us by Telephone +44 (0)20 7823 9090 or email for a return authorization code, returns are not accepted without this code.

Cancellations: Cancellation of non-custom orders must be done before collected from our factory, custom made orders can only be cancelled before put in production.

Payment and Retention of Title: Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. If for any reason, goods are agreed to be shipped prior to clearance of payments, title in the goods shipped belongs to Bonbon Trading Ltd, until payment in full.

Confidentiality: We undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. We do never supply mailing information to third parties.

Applicable Law and Courts of Jurisdiction: All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to the English Legal processes and under the jurisdiction of English Courts.

These conditions do not supersede statutory rights under the Sale of Goods acts but are designed to clarify the principles and procedures by which we operate.
