Acceptance of Orders
All orders placed via our website are acknowledged by email after submission. No order shall be deemed accepted until you receive an order confirmation email from Concept Furniture. All orders are supplied subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Currency
All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Prices may be provided in other currencies on request. Payments can be made in GBP, Euros (EUR), or US Dollars (USD) on request. (Your card provider may charge you in your local billing currency.)
Value Added Tax (VAT)
VAT is charged on all sales within the United Kingdom (UK VAT currently 20%). Purchases delivered outside the United Kingdom are normally supplied excluding UK VAT (where applicable) and may be subject to local import duties and taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping / Carriage
Unless otherwise stated, prices typically include kerbside delivery within the United Kingdom. A second delivery person, room-of-choice delivery, and/or installation services can be quoted on request.
Estimated delivery is typically within 8 weeks, depending on the product ordered and the delivery destination. Please note that many Italian factories close for holidays during August, which may affect lead times.

Storage
We can store your order free of charge with our forwarders for 7 days. After this period, a storage fee of £20 per m³ per week will be added to your invoice.
Installation & Inspections
The assembly and installation of wall beds, non-freestanding cabinets, and wardrobes must be carried out by an experienced installer. This is strongly recommended to ensure safety and correct operation.
Concept Furniture does not carry out installations directly. Where installation is arranged, it is outsourced to fully insured fitting specialists. Any issues relating to installation must be raised directly with the fitting company.
Proper installation is essential. All products must be assembled and secured in accordance with the provided instructions, taking into account the specific condition and characteristics of the wall and fixing surfaces. Improper installation can result in serious accidents.
Periodic inspections should be carried out to ensure items remain securely attached. If there is any doubt regarding the safety of the installation, the product must not be used. Please contact us immediately at: admin@conceptfurniture.com
The purchaser agrees that Concept Furniture cannot be held liable under any circumstances for injuries resulting from a wall bed, cabinet, or wardrobe that was not assembled or installed by an installer recommended/arranged through Concept Furniture. Where our specialist fitters are used, responsibility for installation-related issues rests solely with that fitting company.
Product Safety and Responsibility
All our furniture is designed and manufactured by trusted suppliers. We rely on the manufacturer’s testing, certifications, and installation instructions, and we make every effort to ensure products are safe and compliant with applicable regulations.
However, we cannot be held responsible if a manufacturer fails to meet their obligations, or if they make changes to a product’s design or installation requirements after you have purchased it. If a safety issue arises, we will work with the manufacturer to resolve the matter and support you throughout.
Damage in Transit
After leaving the factory, all goods are insured by our forwarder against loss and damage. If you receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so an insurance claim can be made against the forwarder’s insurers.
If a parcel arrives damaged, you must note this on the delivery note before opening the package (e.g., “parcel damaged”). If you cannot inspect the goods in the driver’s presence, sign as “unable to inspect goods on delivery” (or similar).
For kerbside deliveries and orders over £500, our forwarders require that any damage is recorded on the delivery note at the time of delivery. All other damage claims must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery.

Guarantees / Warranty
Guarantee periods vary by manufacturer. The length of the guarantee is shown on each product page; if you are unsure, please contact us.
We offer a Lifetime Guarantee on some sofa beds and wall beds. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and is limited to 15 years. Our Lifetime Guarantee covers mechanism and frame issues that occur despite proper use and handling. Upholstery, mattresses, and electrical components are guaranteed for 5 years. All guarantees cover manufacturing faults only.
Conditions:

Proof of purchase is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Normal wear and tear (including staining, excessive soiling, abrasion, tears, and burns) is excluded.

Cracking of wood due to changes in room humidity or heat is excluded.

This guarantee is non-transferable.

To fulfil our obligations, we may choose the most cost-effective solution (repair, replacement of the faulty component, or partial refund).

In the event of an exchange or full refund, faulty goods become our property.

Claims are limited to the original purchase price of the unsatisfactory merchandise.

This warranty excludes non-domestic use and goods taken outside areas we service (UK / European Union).

The guarantee may be affected if the product has been adapted, abused, or altered.

For wall beds, the Lifetime Guarantee is valid only if installed by one of our recommended fitters (otherwise coverage is 5 years).
If you experience a problem, email our customer service team with a description and photographs. We will arrange a repair or replacement. A refund will be offered only if a suitable replacement is not available. We are not liable for any direct or indirect financial loss arising from damaged, defective, or wrongly delivered goods.
Guarantees for stain protection are offered under separate terms and conditions.
Returns and Refunds
Return policies vary by product.
For non-custom-made goods, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned at the customer’s expense, in the original packaging, unused, and in a condition suitable for resale, to the original point of dispatch. On request, return collection can be arranged by us.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days after goods are received and inspected, and may exclude insurance, freight costs, and any other non-recoverable charges.
Upholstered or fitted furniture where you have specified a particular fabric or colour is made to order and cannot generally be returned. Wall beds, sofas, sofa beds, tables, and wardrobes are considered custom-made to your specifications unless otherwise stated.
Customers based outside the EU are responsible for any customs charges that may arise when returning goods.

Cancellations
Cancellation of non-custom orders must be made before the goods are collected from our factory. Custom-made orders can only be cancelled before production begins.

Payment and Retention of Title
Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. If, for any reason, goods are shipped prior to clearance of payment, title to the goods remains with Concept Furniture Ltd until payment is received in full.
Confidentiality
We take reasonable precautions to keep customer information confidential and do not supply mailing information to third parties.
Applicable Law and Courts of Jurisdiction
All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English law. Any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to English legal processes and the jurisdiction of the English courts.
These conditions do not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods legislation, but are intended to clarify the principles and procedures by which we operate.
